There’s something special about engagement season.
It’s a season filled with anticipation—the kind that comes from dreaming about the future while still soaking in where you are today. Wedding plans are beginning to come together, calendars are filling up, and before long, the day you've been waiting for will be here.
Kinsey and Ashton brought such an easy joy to their session. Like so many couples, they arrived a little unsure of what to expect, but it didn't take long before the nerves faded away. We spent the evening talking, laughing, and taking our time, allowing the session to feel less like posing for pictures and more like pressing pause on a season they'll never get back.
One of my favorite parts of engagement sessions is that they're often the only time during wedding planning when couples get to slow down. There's no timeline to follow, no guests waiting, and no pressure to make everything perfect. It's simply an opportunity to be together and celebrate the life you're building.
