A Place That Feels Like a Dream

There are places that make you stop for a second and take in what's around you. This little corner of Tennessee was one of those places.

With deep greens, towering waterfalls, and a landscape that almost feels like it belongs somewhere in Ireland, Oregon, or Iceland, it's hard to believe scenery like this is tucked right here in Middle Tennessee.

We spent the afternoon photographing this session surrounded by some pretty incredible scenery. The colors, the movement of the water, and the way the light came through the trees made for the kind of backdrop you almost don't have to do much with.

It's always fun getting to photograph places that remind you how much beauty is right in your own backyard. Sometimes you don't have to go very far to feel like you've stepped somewhere completely different.

A little reminder to slow down, take in your surroundings, and appreciate the places God has given us to enjoy.
